About Leah
Leah is a self-taught surface pattern and textile designer, illustrator, and artist. Her career began in 2008 with a successful Etsy shop which quickly grew to include shops internationally stocking her work and textiles as well as collaborations with brands featuring her surface patterns and illustrations.
She then released her first fabric collection, creating a unique and recognizable voice within the industry. She is known for her earthy modern, playful but sophisticated style. Her strength as both a designer and artist allows her to work across many different mediums including surface pattern, textile, and product design as well as illustration, ceramics, and fine art.
She spent her childhood daydreaming in a small southern town. After living in Austin and Brooklyn, she now lives in Asheville, North Carolina, where she enjoys spending time in nature with her family. Her partner is former chef and current potter, Chris Duncan. They enjoy raising their two young daughters in a creative and sometimes wacky home.
Her heart lives somewhere between the Appalachian Mountains and the high desert of the Trans-Pecos in far west Texas.

Everything in our shop is produced with the highest consideration to ethical manufacturing and environmental impact. While Leah loves to collaborate with many different brands and artists, she especially likes to work with brands that are eco-conscious or uplift women and girls. Promoting sustainability and empowering girls and women are two of her greatest passions as a human and artist.
Each piece in Leah's collection and each product she creates reflects her unique sensibility and soft color palettes. Inspired by a love of nature she has established a recognizable voice that speaks simplicity and beauty with quirky and organic themes.
